“I like to remember things my own way. How I remember them, not necessarily the way they happened.”

- that guy from Lost Highway
I think of him whenever I see people missing the feel of a situation to capture some memory. Not localised to millennials, boomers do this alot.

Lol, months after increasing my rent (on 6 month lease) from $620 to $695 I’m now informed my landlord is increasing the rent to $850, and will be kind enough to install aircon.

Yuck

That's outrageous! Where are you renting?

They know they can be campaigners because there's a rental crisis and people will hold on rather than put themselves through it.

Helps to know a few property managers or it's gonna be brutal.

Waterloo.

You would buy it if it was a smick apartment with new everything but it’s old as *, carpets are done and no air con.

We settled for it cause the location suits me.

Was $620 when we moved in, just got jacked to $695, and now want $850.

In Sydney? I guess that makes more sense.

I don't hold such views towards the majority of members who make the minority of posts.

My views are towards the minority who instead make the majority of posts, most of which belong in a sewer. A sewer they like to swim in, the stench of which drives normal civilised people away.

You do realise what a forum is?

Literally, it’s reading the content created by other people on here. There’s nothing else.

I've now gazed into the eyes of true terror.
