I've decided to set free agency acquisition restrictions to 5 per team per year. Really we should all be able to field a team of 22 with 44 players and team success should be built around good drafting and trading. Should also leave the free agency pool a little deeper for the draft each year.

League has been created. There currently isn't the option to set it as a keeper league, well the option is there but the link doesn't work. So I'll be waiting til they've ironed out the kinks before sending invites. Draft currently set to start in a week.

Not entirely sure how the admin stuff works Zim^zuM may have a better idea, but I wouldnt have thought you need to worry about keeper stuff until next year? I always assumed any league could carry over the previous year's teams

You're probably right. I have a feeling I'll be able to nominate keepers after the draft.

You wouldnt nominate keepers until season 2. E.g. next year you would select an option saying "retain keepers" or something similar and then each team can go nominate their keepers

Life is full of coincidences, I would try not to read too much into that

UF will automatically randomise it anyway if we let it, but either way is fine with me.

I personally would hate to have the number one pick normally, but as it looks like we are having captain's, an earlier pick could be very handy!

That screen is for keeper leagues last season. Next season everyone nominates keepers. The league manager can see who everyone selects then manually has to redo every squad every year.

Make sure you are logged into UF and press the accept button again. Mine didn't show the first time either.

I think you misunderstand. Those numbers aren't our draft order, they are our numbers for a rng, which then randomises those numbers and gives you your draft order. However it appears from Tenderwarrior's post that a random number generator isn't neccesary on UF. I'm too used to fantasy NBA. So ignore that post, I'll just use UF to randomise the draft order.

Yah no problem. Do you know if there's a way to see which teams are connected to which email address on UF?

You can either send people trade offers via UF or PM them on bf. If you PM them on here most people get an email anywys.

At the Moment I believe mine says "Aaron's Team", but shortly we will be known as the "tenderWARRIORS"

Yeah a few are easy to allign with the bf poster, orhers not so much. On a side note, I'm having lots of fun playing with the draft rankings, it's really going to be interesting how people choose to draft, i think there will be tons of value in older guys for teams deciding to take the win now approach.

For those new to Uf I'd highly advise you have a play round and set some pre draft rankings. That way if you happen to miss a pick or know you'll be unable to take your pick you can set your rankings and put it on auto draft. The the max time per pick to start with is 12 hours to allow for those who have busy lives, I'll be shortening the time per pick throughout the draft though especially if we're going too slow and in the later rounss.
