Their self-titled albums was one of my very favourites back in the day, but the follow up turned me off a bit. It was pretty clear they became best buds with Grinspoon.

yeah i agree with previous posters here. loved the self titled album and enjoyed the follow up. not too sure about the new album. seen them twice live and they put on a good tight show. very enjoyable.

haha anyone else here got inspired by this thread, dug out the s/t album and is listening to it right now?...........or am I just a loser? :p

yep and now i know what cd to listen to on the way to cricket training.

I think the untitled is easily the best album, with the latest one - 'Here's to the mourning' a big improvement on the second.
Their best songs would have to be teenage suicide, harmonic, california sky, cailin, seein red, save me, celebration song, she says and walrus.

For the people who went off them after 'Elva', have a listen to 'Here's to the mourning' because its a lot lot better.

Yeah im a very keen fan. :thumbsu:

Saw them at the Unibar a couple months back and they put on a great show, unlike last year at Heaven where Scotty was drugged to the max and could barely stand or string a few lyrics together.

Something worthwhile on all their albums.

good band
lonesome and cailin my fav songs with she says and save me best 1s off their new album
werent too bad back in september though they could get some better gear and equipment for touring coz they didnt sound too great live

Seen them about a dozen times. Big time fan of their live shows.
Had all there CD's, but kinda trailed off a bit after Elva (not that that CD didnt rock)

And i agree....they became very chummy with Grinspoon (kinda started to sound like 'em too)

i used to be a huge fan, got their self-titled album aswell as elva, bloody loved elva, but after that just kind've lost interest until she says came out.... might go buy new album. favourite songs Lonesome, Blame it on me and evolution, its the last song on the elva album. gold.
