The race is run, the winner declared!

For further discussion of the election:

For discussion of the incoming president:

For discussion of the losing candidate:

Enjoy, all!

I do. Unsure what that has to do with Trump's comments and people who supposedly revere the constitution.

Not enough. Like I said its Trump's party now (has been for awhile actually).

How did they alienate them even further? By existing? :drunk:

Harris: "I will govern for all Americans"
Trump: "Enemy within, far left radicals, marxist scum"

Again, Trump can't change the constitution.

End of story on that.

Also, having your sitting president label the opposing supporter base as 'garbage' isn't going to swing votes your way.

At least if you are poor here you have the fallback of Medicare and University if you are smart enough.

Over there neither of those two things are guaranteed.

Yeah I feel like it’s kinda ignored that our Medicare is kinda junk. We get on our high horse about our healthcare but it actually sucks, but indeed better than America. Everyone I know over there seem to have healthcare with their jobs now fwiw.

Agree on the university situation over there - the student loan debt trap is brutal.

Yeah, so does a one eyed bias "Moderater", picking on auto correct in an open forum. Fmd 🤣.
Enjoy the next 4 years big fella 👍
I'm not making fun of your literacy. I'm just making fun of the fact that you've obviously typed 'Greta' so many times on your phone that it auto-populates for you. Lol.

It's a similar problem progressive type parties like Labour in the UK and Labor here will face.
People are fed up with the same old.

And I cannot blame them tbh.

Hence the 'wildcard' results like Trump and Brexit.

I am left wing (obviously) but am disillusioned with the major parties that are considered left at the moment.

My fear was America is not ready for a Female president.
My apologies for saying this.
Yeah, I don't buy this.

Remember incumbency in a period of significant inflation meant whoever was in the candidate position was always trying to regain ground. People will point to the leadership, they will point to issues such as abortion and immigration, but I think the simplest explanation is cost of living was a huge factor in this result regardless of the race, gender or amount of bronzer applied to the candidate.

If they forced Biden to resign, potentially could have.
And then she likely would have pulled more votes as better known, or it could have been worse for her.

It was predicted by a few. Even Dem's were saying be prepared for Donald to win popular vote but lose election swing states.
Which would be very funny if this is how it plays out.

The votes coming in are from Trump heavy areas ie. Rural

He will win each by 2-3 percent
Which ones, specifically? I can't find any that I think will get to 2% other than Wisconsin.

Michigan has barely counted Wayne County (Detroit)
PA still has mostly the counties around Philly
Arizona is 50-50 and most areas are 50-50. Maricopa went Dem toward the end last election.

Georgia and Arizona's polls are tighter than the polls showed (after Savannah is counted)

This is the equivalent of being down with 10 minutes to go. It's salvageable but it would be very unlikely.

No Dom Sheed in American politics I'm afraid

Going to be really awkward when the Trump Tariffs immediately plunge the yanks into a gigantic recession.

But then next election watch the Dem's have that ball and fumble it.

Colorado Bobblehead voted in for another term, just set the joint on fire already
And the Dumpster will fiddle while America burns.
