I hope you can allow me a small sprinkle of hyperbole to get a point across my friend
A small sprinkle of hyperbole, no sorry we can't have that.

Vast reams of unmitigated bullshit on the other hand, sure I'll always allow you that :tearsofjoy:

As we've now established that, as unfair and outrageous as it is in a society, taxes are a fact of life, perhaps we could return to the pre-defelction discussion - why on earth would you be happy with someone making $50K being taxed at a higher rate than a mega corp clearing billions per year?

Superb.

She has left an indelible unburdening on society.

Future generations will scarce believe someone that dumb walked the earth in flesh and blood.
I'm confused. Following Biden, Trump, George W, Marj TG, Ted Cruz, etc she's pretty much on par for US politicians at this point in time. How do people notice something was wrong with Biden and not remember Trump bragging about passing an IQ test which was a senility test?

Is it too early to drop that 2020 claim that "Kamala is going to take over after 6 months" and say that RFK is going to shoulder senile Don out in the first 6 months of 2025? Nobody wants this to happen but it seems like he's getting to feeble age with his recent retractions of promises and now retracting his work with Operation Warp Speed. It's like a snail going back into its shell.

No idea what you’re talking about, but anything is possible.

All you need to remember is Dictator Don may be around as el presidente for a very long time, maybe the longest time ever.

Fair enough, can you set out in more detail exactly what you mean? Are you talking actual tax paid, or the tax rate, and what are the examples you're thinking of? It's difficult to explain in abstract without understanding the exact premise of your question.

Tax rate.

A quick Google tells me that the US tax rate for someone earning 47K to 100K is 22%
Corporate tax rate is 21% (before loopholes/exploits that see many of the biggest paying far less than that) and Trump wants to lower it to 15%

Ok Tax rate, I absolutely agree that individual tax rates are way too high. They should be lowered immensely (alongside an appropriate reduction in Government spending). I am glad that we were able to align.

Deflect and dodge lol

As I'm sure you're aware, I'm asking if you think the corporate tax rate is too low.

This is not my discussion, but I think it's worth saying that the tax rate itself is irrelevant. What individuals and businesses actually pay is the real issue, because Billionaires and multi-nationals are not paying the tax rate. Hell, we still haven't seen Trump's tax returns and and the ones we have showed he wasn't paying tax....

I clearly do not. It should be as low as possible.

Australia's should be lower.

Imagine if we had a corporate tax rate of 10% and international companies were incentivized to pay their tax here rather than siphon it off to Ireland.

Imagine if our income tax rate was capped at 10% as well, imagine all the billionaires and even every day high net worth individuals who would move to Australia for tax purposes.

Instead of importing millions from the third world every year, increasing the cost of government support programs, we instead imported a few thousand high net worth individuals who would increase the tax base despite being at a lower rate.

Very true, as mentioned loopholes and exploits need to be closed as well.

Yes because if there's one thing the US has shown us, more billionaires = happier working class and a better society :tearsofjoy:

Instead of importing millions from the third world every year

Considering the claim you just made above re: immigration I'm sure your figures here are likewise rock solid, no notes :tearsofjoy:

Just the confidence with which he espouses this batshit insanity, its breathtaking.
