Very weird situation with Colombia and US.

It's the one trade deal US truly benefits from but it's also a concept of importing wants and exporting necessities. Colombia send coffee beans and flowers basically. US sends essential food and supplies Colombia with around 50 percent of its food .

It's a trade war Colombia can't win but it's one that would hurt the US economy to take out Colombias. US can easily recover etc. Colombia cannot

The President has already walked back his situation by offering to fly them in on US behalf as a compromise but I doubt Trump accepts that. It will just be a case of a 3 month trade war and Colombia caves. They don't have a choice

Penny Wong just literally said 1 mill died when it was 6. I don't think I've ever seen a bigger downplay then that...

Not a word of boo from anyone though. Apparently it's not racist to downplay the Holocaust when you are a leftie

So basically just admitting they sent people they did not want to the US. Its been not even a week and he has already been proven correct on this. The Colombian President now changed his mind and said he wont let them back in. His rambling just made no sense. He mentions that he will start sending corn elsewhere... they are a net importer of food not exporter.

Colombia exports 26% of its goods to US. US exports to Colombia isnt really measurable. It looks around 0.05 percent type range. Colombia cant really export to Europe without US letting them either. They can easily kill off 50% of the economy. I think we know who wins the trade war the Colombian President wants to embark on...

I suspect he will change his within next 48 hours on this. He kinda has no choice
