Vale Dicky. I knew very little about his playing career with the Scray, but it sounds like he was a good honest player
 
Left to coach Terang just before we played semi-regular finals, two more years and he might have played in a flag side. In the end, we missed out on Ronnie, who could have played with us, but went to Collingwood (under country zone rules) instead. Similar story with Arthur Edwards and Alan (Butch). Michael Moncrieff's father played for us as well, but only 67 games (same era - 1950s).

Hope they recognise a 100-game player in some way on Saturday night...

Wearmouth Senior wouldn't let Ronnie come to F'scray. He directed Ronnie to C'wood as a better run club.
