VFL 2019
What if the VFL never became the national competition and stayed a state wide competition?
What if the Swans and the Lions never Relocated?

What if local footy fans came in their thousands every week to support their team?

The Year is 2019 and the VFL is the footy competition to be in. With 18 teams competing, the competition is flourishing and becoming the premier footy league in the country. With players like Dustin Martin, Patrick Dangerfield and Jeremy Cameron, this is the place to be. Week in, Week out on Friday and Saturday nights, the MCG is pack out to see local talent play the game they love. This is Victorians Competition and nobody can take that away from them.

in this portfolio, I will give you the Logo, Home, Clash and Heritage Jumpers of every team.
Welcome to the Big V.

This Portfolio was inspired by Freight Train's WAFL 2019 Portfolio

okay everyone literally just rip my folio now who needs originality haha. :)

Seriously though, happy to see more content with the folios and I think it’s great but why copy my concept like for like when you can do something original and yours?

I have a portfolio concept inspired by one of your designs although I think there's enough originality in mine to make it worth doing. Just need software really.

I have no problem with inspiration etc., but it’s a bit lame when your entire concept is borrowed down to the opening post. People are welcome to do their own folios and it’s awesome to see and maybe I should just sit down and shut up because at least people are designing but yeah, it’s lame having something piggybacked off my own folio when I intended on using the concept further going forward.

The SANFL one irked me already, but to have two now that are just sequelling off mine without so much as asking if it’s cool is kinda lame IMO.

It's a hard one because the concept is fairly generic at the basic level but I certainly understand your frustration at the timing.

Using the concept is fine, totally fine. But when the entire presentation style is borrowed that’s when it loses originality and irks me.

Behind the Logo

The VFL has turned to the V used in their State of Origin Jumpers to use as their logo but with a slight modification to form a 'F'. Now on the Logo you can find a 'V', 'F' and a 'L' if you have a closer look. I was thinking of adding a extra line at the bottom of the 'V' to form a 'E' but I decided to not add it in the end. This logo represents the 100+ years of the VFL and every victorian that has worn the big 'V'.

I'm sorry for doing this without telling you. I would have but since just_kick_it was doing a SANFL one I just went ahead with it.

I just deleted my NEAFL folio.

No one has to delete folios - that’s not my point. Do a VFL 2019, NEAFL 2019, SANFL 2019 - do whatever. Conceptually it’s great, it would just be nice for people to execute it in their own way rather than just trying to emulate the what I’m doing down to identical presentation etc.

I was taking the Piss.
I don't even know how to operate the blender, let alone photoshop.

The teams will be coming out in alphabetical order. I've done the logo for the first team, I'm just stuck on what their jumper should be. Should be out tomorrow.

Ballarat Bullets
Formerly known as: Ballarat Rebels
Home ground: Mars Stadium (25,000)

The Ballarat Rebels entered the VFA in 2000 in a mass expansion that saw 6 teams enter and re-enter the league. Since 2000, the Rebels won 4 VFA Premierships in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2011. This caught the attention of the VFL and in 2013, they gave the right of an expansion team to the Ballarat Rebels. The rebels went under a total Rebrand. Now calling themselves, the Bullets. They wear the colours Charcoal, Orange and White. Their Jumper representing how a bullet travels from one side to another. They have local talent such as Jeremy Cameron, Matt Rosa, James Frawley and Jordan Roughead. They have still not won their first Premiership but, they are a yearly team in the finals. They play out of "Eureka" Mars Stadium which was only for 11,000 people but has now has been upgraded to 25,000.
The Bullets are Here.

Im using the City of Ballarat logo and the speeding bullet from openclipart.org

To avoid confusion this is how the image layout will be.
Top Left: Logo
Top Right: Home Jersey
Bottom Left: Clash Jersey
Bottom Right: Heritage Jersey

in the new VFL the VFL has expanded to more areas of Victoria. I have not chosen all of the expansion team areas yet so I need your help. Please give me some locations in only Victoria and please also give me some name options as well *they not be used*.
