Hope he makes a good fist of it and can stay healthy.
WE need some bigger veteran help and he can provide it. Might even open some more doors for him.

I wouldn't rule an out an MSD pick if we had a slot open (before you laugh our mature key defender depth is zero).
As someone who has long touted that we should MSD one of our own for a number of reasons … this , imo, would be a step in the right direction. We know him ..and he has shown what he is capable of. My only issue is if his body can stand up to play enough footy to make him a legit option.

Do you mean key forward? Cause our key defender depth is great. SDK couldn't get a game in finals and O'Sullivan is highly rated on top of those who played finals.

Either but I was thinking as a forward. We basically have no depth behind neale and if he was to get injured unless we are playing small ball (which we could do we have 4 of the best smalls in the league but it would be a change in structure) we would want a 2nd tall forward who can potentially pinch hit ruck. So if he shows promise back or forward and 2nd ruck (similar to his role at Collingwood) then it could happen.
But Nathan's biggest issue has been his body never holds together long enough so I doubt we will see it.
