This is actually a problem that the afl should be addressing proactively.


I work remote up north a lot in communities and mate there are materas, Riolis and krakouers galore up north. 


It’s an absolute gold mine for players.  Half our league could be aboriginal players they are that good.


But there is t much of a pathway for them.  The afl needs to partner with government and turbocharge things like the Clontarf foundation.  Employ former footy players - esp indig folk and create solid pathways into the league for all - it’s too much for a couple of clubs restricted by soft caps.
