Yeah I worked out Young was injured just in time.

I am 18 points clear with VDV (C) & Ryan Taylor to play.
My opponent has Adebayor (C), Gareth Bale & Ryan Taylor.
Its going to go down to the wire.

Dissapointed Gerrard didn't play & Torres was horrible, he might have to go.
Cleverley looked good on return he might have to come back in.

Kompany missing for next 3 games - Any suggestions?

I think Evra is better value ATM and Man U has a nice run of games coming up, so there should be some clean sheets. Also, I would get rid of Torres. Rooney is becoming more affordable, so maybe get him or someone like Silva.

I have to get a Man City defender. Perhaps next week - their prices should be lower by 1-2m.

Im holding onto Kompany. Think its only going to be 1 week suspension? Would want him back in when he's back so will just upgrade one my back bench guys. With no half points on benches can afford to hold a player or two.

So with Kompany looking at 1 - 3 Weeks & Gerrard looking at up to a month on the sidelines I have some decisions to make this week.
Only scored 136 & slid to 155th Overall. I also have my Torres issue.

My game plan A at a glance.
Kompany out for Patrice Evra
Gerrard out for Cleverley or Downing
I then have the funds to upgrade Torres to Aguera the following week.
Strikers would then be : Rooney / Van Persie & Aguera.

Anyone see any holes in this plan or any better options?

1. No not really
2. Lampard for mine. Although cant go wrong with Nasri. He just has more chance of being rested as has done previously.

For me i really want Rooney back for his upcoming fixtures but cant bring myself to trade out any my forwards.
Currently have Van Persie, Abebayor & Bent. Abebayor has good fixtures and also double gameweek in GW20 to come, whilst Bent just scored 24 and will go up in value for next few weeks

VDV - Injured Hamstring on International Duty
Gerrard - Injured struggling to come up from infection in leg.

My Midfield is being smashed this week by injuries.
Anyone have any updates on any of these injured players?
& who do you suggest as replacements if needed?

VDV confident he'll play. Gerrard out for a few weeks. Nasri doubtful this week. I would look at trading out Gerrard and Nasri for perhaps two of Lampard, Bale or Mata.

Ash Cole doesn't miss to many, you might be in trouble there.
He scored 16 last game so is in OK form anyway.

I have Baines on the bench too. He hadn't done anything before this week, hence I was reluctant to play him. I have Chelsea and Man U defenders and I thought they would score better than Baines.

I hope VDV guns it tonight.

I would be moving on Dzeko for that very reason.
Reminds me of Samir Nasri, awesome when he gets out there however that is not consistent enough. Bring in Aguero

Tempted to cash in on VP this week. Dropped $450K or so after scoring 6 and will keep plummetting unless he scores 30+

At 17mil its big risk but could really set up the bank balance for a while. Make $6-7mil "downgrading" him to Silva, Abeydor (even tho traded him out 2 weeks ago for Rooney )

Then get him back in few weeks time when he drops to 10-12mil himself...


Me myself i had a stinker of a round, only scoring 70. Dropped out of top 1000, was 499 last week!! Had bloody A.Cole (22) & Baines (16) sitting on the bench. Played Lescott (-4), Evra (6) & Vidic (6) over them!! Not to mention VDV big fat donut in midfield...


Anyway heres my team as it stands.

Don't mind your RVP Gameplan - Not sure I will do it however it has its merits.

I managed to swing A.Cole on the ground for VDV & that move won me the game last week. Currently 300 ish in the rankings. 98 was my highest ranking to date.

I'm not trading out RVP this week if he's playing against Wigan. He should score. The only doubt centers on whether Wenger rests him.

I'm 108th now. Last week sucked, with VDV missing and RVP not scoring.

I think I might trade out Rooney again. This goal-scoring drought is worrying & I'd prefer Adebayor or Silva, maybe even Dzeko.

Yep double gameweek next week

Im back upto 843 overall, fell to bout 1200 few weeks back after couple shockers. Currently sit in 5th spot, 11 points from the lead so need big back half of season to take out the premiership

thats the lineup i usually run. Yaya goes to African Cup in next week or so, so gotta decide if trade him or just sit him on bench for while...
