Lulz at those who got 2k corporate seats for free, only to get more next week.

The same. Club members + AFL will be the same...corporates maybe less...i expect the same anguish as this week.

I'll love to get a ticket though...shame i didnt get it this time

Easier. Many interstaters and locals book their holidays/weddings/other events in advance and won't be able to come back next week.

Crowd will be less next week than this week.

I felt sorry sitting at home and seeing all of those Pies and Saints supporters cheering their hearts out at the Music Bowl and Fed Square, while a bunch of Asian businessmen watched from the best seats at the house. No, I've never been to a Grand Final, but I know I can and will when Melbourne makes it.

I forked out 2k for Centre Square to sit next to the likes of the Asian businessmen etc, but always hope that each member gets the ticket they want.

The AFL need to make this the fans round. Sadly, this is their Golden ticket

THE GRAND final replay between Collingwood and St Kilda will take place at the MCG next Saturday afternoon, with two five-minute periods to be added in the event of another draw.

The Pies and Saints were locked on 68 points at the end of normal time on Saturday.


More Magpies and Saints members will be able to attend the game - to be played at 2.30pm on October 2 - with 16,000 tickets on top of the normal 25,000 to be made available.

Competing club members can purchase tickets from 9am on Monday while AFL members will get their opportunity from 9am on Tuesday.

The general public will have access to any remaining tickets at 9am on Wednesday.

I'm an AFL silver member who spent $1300 on the western bulldogs corporate package for todays game, it seems no corporate packages will be available to next weeks game, so im stuffed pretty much cant get a ticket.
Collingwood do not allow AFL silver members in their club allocation of tickets and silver members dont have the right to AFL member tickets unless there are some left over from the gold members, which never happens.

if anyone has an eligible membership type to obtain a ticket to the rematch and cant attend next week or wants to arrange some sort of monetary deal for access to ur membership number/ticket. PM me and we can sort something out

Collingwood do not allow AFL silver members in their club allocation

stiff.

I got a standing room ticket in my allocation in 2008 (silver hawks member) and gave it to the old lady.

so many members = this bound to happen

I don't understand why people are requesting tickets when none have been allocated or sold to this point... you still have the opportunity to obtain them via membership or the public release... when the time comes...

it will be an interesting week - some things will be repeated, but not of the same size as this week/today... for that reason you'd think they have to call a result in one game and not two.

Given that the MCG capacity is supposed to be 100,018 and 100,016 turned up today, I'd suggest nobody got caught out or the figure would have been a few down. Unless of course, they were caught after their tickets were scanned. I would have thought however, that it would be easier to check ID's when people are in queue...
