Harley signed some fans stuff then left. No comments to the media and was trying to keep it low key.

"Lets catch him at the airport to get him to sign stuff for us" is so weird to me. How did they even know what flight he was coming in on to be there waiting for me.

especially since the club has been good at having players able to sign stuff post training sessions so it's not hard.

I wouldn't be surprised we rested him as he played 6 games then his break then he will also get the bye break, theyve just broken it down in chunks to get him through the first season

They've already flagged he'll likely get one more post bye rest as well. If i had to take a stab maybe the North game in Hobart? Though i'd love for him to play them just to rub that salt in.

You don't play Harley as SubThere's plenty of ways to "rest" him in extra games without him not being in the side.
Fans still get to see him and he remains involved in the match.
- Select him as the sub.
- Play him exclusively in the forward line.
- Give him only 50% game time.
Otherwise if he's not selected at all, I'd prefer he be at the stadium watching the match so he stays connected to the team, rather than going back to Tongala.
Maybe sit in the coach's box. He could probably give Simmo a few tips.

It sounded like there may be some family things going on also. Haven’t been shared publicly which is good - they are private and as a young man he has been afforded very little privacy.
Glad he got the opportunity to head home, sure more time with and around (and in!) the team is preferable - but showing a level of flexibility and compassion as a club is more important.
