Dear [Name],

I would like to start off by apologizing for my previous comments about Conor Nash's performance. I realize now that my critique was completely unwarranted and misguided. In fact, upon further reflection, I can confidently say that Nash's performance was nothing short of phenomenal, and any criticism I had to offer was completely baseless.

I must admit that I was blinded by my own biases and personal opinions, and failed to recognize the incredible talent and skill that Nash brought to the table. His performance was flawless, and there was truly little room for any kind of admonishment. I should have recognized this from the very beginning, and I deeply regret any negativity that my comments may have caused.

Furthermore, I understand that my behavior was disrespectful and unprofessional. It is not my place to criticize or belittle the achievements of others, especially when they have accomplished something as impressive as Nash did. I realize now that my actions were hurtful and completely inappropriate.

In the future, I will strive to be more mindful of my words and actions, and to approach situations with a more open and unbiased perspective. I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me for my previous behavior, and that we can move forward with a renewed sense of mutual respect and understanding.

Once again, I apologize for any harm or offense that my comments may have caused. Thank you for taking the time to read my apology.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]

Just be wary of asking it too many things about AFL

Every single player has something to work on, instead of applauding his performance which many have, because he was able to slow down Tom Green while being very good himself in key areas which are his strengths for a breakout performance it was quite ignorant of you.

If that was Jeka you'd be absolutely glowing with positivity, instead of focusing on say Jeka's lack of tackles, pressure acts and maybe disposals (let's say he has a game of 3 goals 2 contested marks) you'd be blowing up over a positive performance, whereas for Nash here you were super critical instead of putting it out in a way that could be alot better.

If you wanna highlight improvements, atleast give him credit where it's well and truly due.

Something like:

"Conor Nash! what a performance from the Irish lad, he was phenomenal in negating Tom Greens effectiveness in the second half of the game, he was really clean at stoppages, he won the contested footy, and won plenty of the ball himself, he was really good and creative by his hands, and he was a physical presence with his blocking but mainly his pressure and tackling, a wonderful game and a good step in the right direction.

I'd like to point out that i think Nash should be looking at focusing on his improvements aswell, obviously his strengths were on display however i think he needs to keep working on his kicking, and trying to kick the ball more often, i think he needs to work on using his size both height (198cm) and size of his body and frame to be a difficult matchup forward and hit the scoreboard and be more involved with scoring, and also using his height around the ground to contest and take marks, and i would also like him to focus on using his cleanliness and hand skills to win centre clearance and feed the ball to our outside players

In the last couple weeks he hasn't been able to do what i have mentioned

Stats..."

Do you see what i mean?
Yes, upon reflection, I see the errors in my post and forgive my ignorance. I will aim to be better and thank you for your considered response and guidance.

Again, I apologise for the distress this post caused you and other posters. I also like to make a public apology to Connor for not been more positive and glowing in my post. I hope in time I could be forgiven for this post and my ignorance.

I think a fellow mod deleted it, for failing to pass our rigourous "Must Not Be Pure Horseshit" test.

If that test was applied more diligently then that poster's post count would be in the single digits.

I think the stats I highlighted might be wrong anyway, I think he had 3 extra kicks, but if you and others think he doesn't have anything to work on and he’s a finished product that’s fine.

It’s reasonable to suggest Nash himself would probably acknowledge that he has a fair bit to work on and so would his coaches. I wasn't sure why me posting it would be any different but I now understand.

I’m really sorry to have upset you and others including moderator SYL who understandably deleted the post and administered a sanction and warning.

I didn't think it was that offensive but clearly some posters are really upset so for that I'm really sorry and I apologise for upsetting those posters. The intention was just to post some of his stats over the the last 2 weeks with a comment of something for him to work on.

I'll be mindful next time to not highlight stats of areas where players may need to work on or improve. I acknowledge and understand how it could offend some posters and that wasn’t the intention nor is upsetting posters a good thing.

I hope you and others will consider accepting my apology and forgive me for my oversite and we can move on together celebrating the good moments.
You decided some time in the last few years that Nash wasn't a footballer, and then decided to double down at every milestone he achieved. Accept he is much better than you give him credit for, and just watch the improvement trajectory with hope instead disdain.

Yet again the entitled, negative whiners calling for someone's head massively prematurely are made to look stupid and lacking in football knowledge.
Yup, and you never know how good a player can truely get and at what age, everyone’s development curve is different. Ricky Henderson a great example at different ends of his career.

Nash could be anything tho

He's really tackling to hurt again like in his debut year. Our aggression has gone through the roof in the last few weeks and Nash has lead the way. As a club we are fourth in the league for tackles.

Love it.

Any complaints this week about him?
