Geez, well spoken. I knew he was but he handled that interview like a pro. Get him on more!

Sammy mentioned in his presser yesterday that prior to coming to the Hawks that he was pretty much the captain in everything he was involved and in sporting wise. So glad the switch has flipped for him and can’t wait to see what other levels he can reach.Geez, well spoken. I knew he was but he handled that interview like a pro. Get him on more!
Day will be the future captain. Day is a natural leader who is well-liked by his team and who demonstrates his leadership skills on the field. And Day reminds me of Luke Hodge. That said, Nash has become a leader. The tackles he makes sometimes when the opposition is about to get out of the back and score on us will no doubt be in the minds of the coaching group. I was also very impressed by the post-game interview he gave after our loss to Adelaide. You could hear in his voice just how painful a loss that was for the group. And, of course, his performances have been outstanding this season. He is a unique player, as there is no one else in the AFL quite like him.Potentially a future captain once Sicily is done
Per Sam in the post match, Nash has been captain of every side he's been a part of. He has not become a leader, he has always been a leader.Day will be the future captain. Day is a natural leader ... That said, Nash has become a leader.
Has he? Well, there you go. I just never really saw him as a leader in his first few years.Per Sam in the post match, Nash has been captain of every side he's been a part of. He has not become a leader, he has always been a leader.
Do you reckon?Great story that is still sneaking well under the gaurd as far as AFL goes .
Got a feeling in 12-18 months when we start pushing up the ladder the media will cotton on .
A real team player .

Yeh I find this very strange - media is normally the first to pump up the tyres of Irish imports yet have remained strangely subdued when it comes to Connor - YET have at the same time haven't stopped circle jerking over the debut of Geelong's new Irish recruit. If you believe their hype, he is the greatest Irish afl export ever to grace our fine shores. Just incredible
Irish girl you would've seen him with was Aine McDonagh. They're mates, and he came to a vflw game with her (there's nothing romantic between there)Saw him on Swan St in Richmond today, he looks leaner in person than he does on telly. He didn't look 197cms and 94 kilos to be honest (I'm 188 and 97, he didn't seem 9-10cms taller than me, but who knows). He was with an attractive young lady who also spoke with an Irish accent. I overheard him say he was looking forward to the mid-season break (who can blame him?). He met up with another bloke down the street who I thought was Sis for a second, but wasn't.
Looked her up, it's possible, but I don't think she was that tall.Irish girl you would've seen him with was Aine McDonagh. They're mates, and he came to a vflw game with her (there's nothing romantic between there)
Hale picks him as our most improved mid
