He's an absolute unit and is only going to get better from here. This is his first full season as a fulltime midfielder which is almost scary!

Has all the traits to be elite - as was mentioned earlier, just needs to work on his marking and kicking for goal. Can he turn into a 15 goal per year mid?

I watched a bit of it a little while ago, but not much recently. The reason I say it feels like it comes more from Rugby is because his handballing normally follows the pattern of a rugby player. Always looking for the person in a position to take more ground.

Where someone like Jai, for example, will pull off a looping handball to a person in front of him, Nash will look back and to the side for someone clear and in better position to run. Nasher was also much more of a rugby boy than a Gaelic boy too which is why I think the rugby bleeds through a bit more, though he definitely did both.
This is a good description and what comes to my mind when I think of Nashy.

I wonder if becoming more attacking with his handballs is something him and the coaches are looking at, as he is excelling in the inside mid role.

Starting to show hints of actual 'class' with the ball, not just braun and pace...

Little 'feints' and baulks, and real cleverness with hands.

That '50 game barrier look to be really a thing, with Conor going from 'athlete who plays football' to 'footballer'

To put it another way, it’s exciting to think that he has just become a fully fledged ‘footballer’.

Still a lot of growth and development in Nashy.

He's done some blind turns and shows some natural awareness by hand that puts a fair percentage of the natural born footy players in the league to shame. Honestly I reckon he finds options by hand better than anyone we've had since Sam - especially when you consider how much he actually handballs it.

Completely destroyed the Pies midfield today.

We are a much better team when Nash plays the majority of CBAs. We got absolutely torched against the Saints when he played on the wing that 1st quarter. Nash in the middle was the difference maker.

I knew he’d played really well, but a quick gander at his stats, it blows my mind: 31 disposals, 9 marks, 6 tackles.
😮😮😮

What gets lost in the statistics is his ability to halve almost any contest by just putting body in between the ball and the opposition.

So many times it looked like Collingwood would be able to pounce on a loose ball and make a clearance and Nash just finds a way to get in between and force another stoppage.
