Like the pick, great time to be a developing full back at Hawthorn. Seniors of battle, barrass and frosty to learn off of. Welcome to the hawks!
Would struggle to get a game at box hill you'd to think. We are seriously stacked for tall defenders mow.

Looking at that you'd have to assume Weddle is playing further up the ground and Sic will be spending a lot of time up forward as well.

That's a serious amount of KPD talent we have on our hands now.

A heap of upside. Injury meant he didn't get to strut his stuff this year but the snippets he showed early were promising. Mobile KPP with neat skills that could be developed at either end thanks to his athleticism.

We're in a strong position where we can give him the time to develop and build up his strength.

Love the write-up here:

Rather than risk injury by forcing himself to play he focussed on the combine and spent time coaching at Dandenong. Sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders.

Yes unlike DGBs early years we won't be forced to rush him into the side as we are well and truelly stacked down back.

He can do a solid apprenticeship at Box Hill ala the old days of the 1980s when many Hawks greats did in the seconds.
