This site has been provided for discussion of the new Gold Coast team.

Discussion is welcome from anyone with an avid interest in the forthcoming AFL's 17th side or from anyone in relation to the side.

This Board is for fans of the Gold Cost Football Club - However normal BF rules apply, and you are asked to discuss politely, courteously and with respect to other posters on this board.

Visitors are welcome and encouraged to share their views.....however.....this post serves as a warning to visitors from other clubs.

You must at all times treat the posters of this Board with respect and refer to the Gold Coast Football Club and it's supporters with respect while visiting this Board. Trolling and abuse - no matter how thinly veiled will not be tolerated.

Offending posters will have their access to this Board removed, receive infraction points, and in some cases lose access to BigFooty.

The use of terms "metros", "townies", "gallas", or "the mob up the road" is acceptible and tolerated when discussing the Brisbane Lions.

I think we should have a pretty healthy following on this board. A healthy chunk of the population in the GC region have already embraced the team.

Looking forward to the matches, particuarly against the mob up the road.

Congratulations guys. From one expansion team supporter to another let me say it's an exciting opportunity being able to follow your team right from it's birth.

Don't let those snobby Vic teams with their 100 years of history put you down - you have the opportunity to watch every game your club ever plays and to see every player that ever pulls on your club's jumper right from the beginning. That's something they will never have.

Good luck - but don't win a premiership before we do ok?

I very rarely post on other team's boards, but I have to say that even though the Gold Coast team is still 3 years away, it's very good that we have a Gold Coast board on bigfooty. Well done guys and congrats to JTGM on being the very 1st mod of this board.
PS. Now all you need are sub-forums.
