The worst team since Fitzroy finally are on an even playing field this week as they come up against the bye.

So far nothing has stopped them in their quest to ruin Harley Reid's career.

For the bye its hard to see where goals will come from but Perf don't match up well against it with the talent level being about even.

The bye has form let us never forget their stirring victory against Porf back in 2011.

My predictions:
Andrew Gaff to punch thin air and knock out a teenage teammate who may or may not have been ducking.
Eagles faithful to boo anything and everything.
Darling WOG registering his usual stat line.
Kelly to lead the clanger count with a whopping 15.
The bye to double its win tally!

AFL officials bring out green curtain to finally deal with West Coast Eagles.

After another drubbing on the weekend, AFL officials have corralled the West Coast Eagles players behind a privacy screen to put them out of their misery.

Lovingly constructed by their match day cheer squad from crepe paper and sticky tape, the privacy screen displayed a simple, encouraging message of finality: “Enough’s enough.” Once in place, AFL Commissioner Gillon McLachlan, a leader never afraid to get his hands dirty, told the press, “The torture has to end,” before donning a black hood and stepping behind the shield.

The crowing Adelaide supporters singing “We’re the pride of South Australia” drowned out the sound of eighteen individual shotgun blasts which thankfully put an end to the Eagles’ season, the potential for future nightclub incidents or racist slurs, and having to hear ad nauseum about their one-point 2006 grand final win over the Swans.

It was later revealed that AFL integrity officials quashed initial plans to euthanise by lethal injection as they feared using needles would just remind too many diehards of the good old days.

At the post-putting down media conference, head coach Adam Simpson struggled to find answers stating, “I feel Ben Cousins is to blame.”

Fittingly, the West Coast Eagles’ remains are to be scattered across Subiaco Oval, another forgotten relic of Western Australian AFL history. The green curtain was reportedly rolled up and sent on its way to North Melbourne.

They haven't started their rebuild properly yet and are still giving out 2 year contracts to Nic Fat (23/24) & McWhoppers (24/25). I was reliably informed that they couldn't afford to pay them in the first year due to salary cap constraints so they pushed it all into the 2nd year.

That means they are actually paying more than the cap for their whole team in 2023 + 2024.

I honestly thing The Bye will beat them... 34 points + . Worst 2 seasons by an AFL listed team EVER !!

Not quite

Worst is Giants 2012/2013. 3 wins with an average % of 48.67%

Next is Fitzroy 1995-1996. 3 wins with an average % of 53.7%

Then its West Coast 2022-2023. 3 wins so far with an average of 56.5%

Worst in VFL/AFL is St Kilda 1897-1898. 0 wins average of 31.3%

Extra game this year. If they end up with 3 wins over two seasons from 45 games, it's going to be worse.

1 win from 23 games also going to take the cake for worst AFL season too. Surely they will fluke a win though in the next 11 games.

eighteen individual shotgun blasts
Spared the guys listed on the interchange huh? Probably so they had someone left to carry the bodies. That's four more hammys waiting to happen.

The Bye is up by 50 points at the moment. No one is really tearing it up.
In a stunning development, Shuey has just called for a head count on the Bye after Darling was brought down in the square by an "extra man".

After a close review of the video, it was found to be an empty chip packet that had blown onto the ground.

McGovern is now manning up the chip packet in the hope of some crumbs.
