Skills disintegrate in congestion. If you want your team to have good skills, get the ball into open space. This game plan is deliberately creating congestion, and destroying the skills of our own players.

Eagles skills when they get out in space are fine. Eagles skills at the contest, dreadful.

So let’s push everyone onto the ball and turn it into chip and chase rugby out the back as our only avenue forward.

I get we've got a lot of Irish, but some of the decision making and I'll discipline on the field makes me think we've got one of the dumbest teams in the AFLW.

It's got to be coaching.

Players should have a better grasp of how to play footy and how it's officiated by now.

The Tigers Demons game was excellent, more fun than some men's games. This is what's so frustrating -- the women can play good footy. The coaches are doing their best to stop them.

Another thing -- at our ruck contests, Laurie is tapping the ball nearly to her feet, or to a player standing right next to her. Who is then immediately tackled, which is why we have so many repeat stoppages. If you watch the other teams with good midfields (like we're supposed to have, on paper) they'll hit the ball wide to find space and run. Clearly our team is under orders not to do that. It's just hideous.

I still think season 2 was the best quality season of the 5-6 so far.

There's too many players out there now who clearly aren't good enough to be playing professional football with their skills, but are allowed to.

Honestly it should have been kept at eight teams for a few more seasons, then gradually add two teams every two or three years.

Piss weak umpiring, but our defending at half back in the leadup to that goal was atrocious.

Says a bit when our team doesn't seem to be improving.

This is our THIRD season now, and the same issues of our first season are still there.

Training wheels need to be off already. This "just happy to be here" attitude by the club needs to be left behind.

Not thrilled with Thomas.

High draft pick who's been in the system for years and should be more comfortable at this level, yet she's way out of her depth.

Wasn't she pitched as plug and play midfield support for Bella, Dana and Swanny? 2 disposals in 3 quarters of footy.

Sorry but we are just bog ordinary, 3 years in and the skills are like 1st year players, they have no idea how to set up around the ground.

What have our coaches been doing for the last 3 years.
