PLAYER SUMMARIES
West Coast

16. West Coast - Taj Hotton
39. West Coast - Lachie Jacques
52. West Coast - Clancy Dennis
63 West Coast - Riley Bice

Across my picks I’ve gone with three players in the backline, one been the mature aged recruit in Bice. I’m not sure if Bice does go in the national draft but I still believe he’s a good fit for the Eagles for both his experience as well his leadership.
Lachie Jacques would have two strong mentors with Bice taken in this draft and Duggan already at the Eagles. Jacques has some nice athleticism and solid skills with the ball in hand and I am hoping that his ability to win more contested possessions improves as he puts on size.

Clancy Dennis plays like a maniac, throwing his body up for marks and into packs with complete disregard for his safety. He doesn’t hesitate with any of his decision making and as a key defender he is a decent user of the footy. He plays a very close checking style on his direct opponent but has also shown moments where he can peel off for an intercept mark. He’s my third favourite key defender in this draft after Trainor & Tauru so to get him where I did. I am super happy.
Hotton is the excitement machine of this draft bunch and with Gibney + Reid gives the Eagles another nimble player that’s able to create opportunities not only for himself but for his teammates. He’s another skinny one but unlike Jacques he has shown on more occasions that he has no trouble winning his own ball.

If not for the ACL and he’d played the full year through, there’s no doubt in my mind he was going top 10 so to get him at the pick 16 feels like a bargain.

Count me in, such an even and exciting crop of prospects this year. Some real value to be had in the second round especially.

all spots are now locked up because I’ll attach teams with picks later in the draft to other teams so people aren’t bored sitting around waiting for a pick in the 50+ range

Port Adelaide.
Gee that Kane Cornes is a fair impartial football media personality and David Koch is an attractive man who isn't annoying at all.

Yeah there’s a few saying they’ll live trade with Richmond on the night for say pick 6 and a later first

I was thinking about whether to allow this in the mock draft or if that would just make it drag for too long
Might have to do a small draft pick swap period before the mock draft.
