I watched Planet America last night to assess the outcome of the debate. Didn’t have the heart to subject myself to the debate. What did I learn? I’m an old man and had a nanna nap. I think it was my brain telling me something.

I’ve been watching Shaun Micallef’s Eve of Destruction. The premise of the show is which two items would you save from your house if you were a victim of a catastrophic event. One of these items is destined for ‘destruction’ via an audience ‘vote’ at the end of the show.

The interviews that are woven around these personal artefacts are entertaining. The guests play along with a mixture of seriousness and funny anecdotes.

Last night was the best I’ve seen so far. Effie’s friend Mary Coustas dropped in for a chat as well as that famous dandy Tim Rogers.

They said the ice horn fell over 900ft. Gulp.

Stumbled across "The North Waters" on Stan. BBC production previously on ABC iview. Gritty, dark, and Colin Farrell amazing, as are all the cast.
