Nah, he's still got it. He's crushing it
Malthouse, Pagan, Rocket, Blight, Worsfold etc. All well credentialed coaches who finished their careers at basketcases without improving them.
North are disastrous at the moment. It will take a lot more than a Hail Mary coaching appointment to fix it.

The best players win Premierships not necessarily the "best" coach.

A coach is only as good as the strength and health of his list. That doesn't mean they're not important, just that there are more important variables influencing the wins and losses. A good coach can maximize, optimize, but he can't turn water into wine. Bad cattle is bad cattle - periodt.
I would rather the best players in my side with an adequate coach than a great coach with a bunch of duds.No, just they were all passed it.
