Back in the days of Full Frontal and Fast Forward, Eric Bana, Steve Vizard and Peter Moon were all very funny IMO as well.
Definitely agree with those mentioning Larry David, but I don't think that jJerry Seinfeld is on the same wavelength. Curb fans will know exactly what I mean, watch even just a couple of episodes of that and you will realise just how much Jerry's character on Seinfeld was dependant on Larry David's brilliance.
Billy Connolly. He is the best at describing funny stories. One of the guys of 'Who's Line Is It Anyway' is very clever. I think it's Colin. Lano and Woodley were my favourites when I was younger.
Can't go past the one and only, Dave Chappelle! The man is a freaking genius! Just watch Killing Them Softly and you will understand.
Charli Chaplin is an all time great. The things he did in his time, just wow! Chaplin acted in, directed, scripted, produced and eventually scored his own films as one of the most creative and influential personalities of the silent-film era.
Oh, and Russell Peters would be up there as one of my favs.
