So the race to secure the angry midget is down to GWS, Norf & Essenscum*.

Clarko is finished as an AFL coach - anyone who observed his last few years at Hawthorn should know that. It's laughable three clubs are jostling to pay overs for Fool's Gold when there are plenty of younger, hungrier coaches like Adam Yze out there ready to be given a shot, but reputations die hard in footy.

My question is which club would you like to see "win" the poisoned chalice that will be Clarko's Latter Years?

They are starting from such a low base I just don't see how he can make the sort of impact required to make them worse.

Harvey missed finals in 2011 after a visit in 2010. Longmuir has not so if you want history to repeat you need to get facts straight.

Your post is made up of possibilities and “what-ifs” against my facts.

If your only reason to get Lyon was because he had Geelong figured out (minus ‘09 Premiership of course) then it was a wrong call because you got owned by Hawf in the 2013 decider. Perhaps you should’ve focused on Hawthorn instead of Geelong?

We thought Geelong had their measure, Varcoe kicks that easy goal and I recon we win as the prelim goes into overtime.

You have to pray harder, then you can work on Essendon's tackling.
