Thought this would be a good idea, just so if anybody would like to any information about a certain club, they will know who to speak to.

I am hoping that we are able to get at least 1 person from each club. It will be an effort, but I believe we can get there.

I used to go to Kilsyth games in the 80's to around 2000 as my brother was playing then went on to be captain and then went on to coach them for a couple of years later after that.

Norwood - My brother played for them for years. I can't believe how they've come along, an established Division 1 team! It wasn't that long ago that a victory over Coldstream was the only thing that kept them in Division 3. In the early 90s, I did a preseason with their Colts, which ended when it became apparent that they wouldn't have enough U18 players to field a team. But even then they had a good junior club and I believe the Colts won a flag only a few years after that.

Also I keep an eye on North Ringwood. When I was a kid I used to get up there on a Saturday an work the scoreboard for $5 and a pie.

What is really weird is that North Ringwood used to be the big Division 1 team and Norwood the poor Division 3 cousins down the road. They've swapped places. It's going to be a strange feeling at the Mitcham v North Ringwood game in Division 3 this year - it wasn't that long ago that this was a Division 1 fixture.

Blackers its amzing how things have changed,
Mitcham used to be a division side 1962 to 2006 then fall away badly to be a struggling division 3 side.
Norwood, Wantirna South, Knox & Lilydale all used to be Division 4 sides and are now Division 1 which is good to see.

Follow Vermont and Noble in Div 1 - Friends there.
Rowville in div 2
No one in div 3
And in div 4 i have always had a soft spot for the Glen Waverley Hawks although have never seen them play a game

Apart from last season I don't think anyone seen Glen Waverley play, they just turned up lmao......Good to see them turn it around and come from last to play finals.

Played Juniors at Knox went to vermont till 22 then back to knox for 4 years so follow those two but am a Knox boy at heart, always will be

Boronia Hawks..Played there for about ten years. Have not been down there for a long time but could never think of playing for or suppporting anyone else.

Can anyone tell me what Doncaster FC is like as a club?

Good depth? Good Ressies? Good club culture? Disciplined? etc etc..

Great club but I'm Biased.
One of the best grounds & set of rooms in the comp including all divisions.
Have lost a little experience this season with a couple of retirements, but do have some younger guys that have tasted senior footy that will be ready made replacements.

Will have competitive Colts this season which is difficult for the Mannigham based clubs. Have had good numbers on the track.

At the half way mark were finals bound last season but had a disappointing 2nd half to the year, with key injuries hurting them. The year before they made the Prelim.

For some reason sides tend to struggle against them when travelling to their ground. On their day they will beat anyone there up against & look a million $$$ doing it. Finding consistency is the key, a common thread amongst the Div 2 clubs.
