Society/Culture Woke. Can you tell real from parody? - Part 2 -

For the most part it's fair argument that Jan and Joe public don't use 'woke' as a pejorative, merely an observation of the irrational, those that do use it as a pejorative are those with fringe right views.

Same with rwnj, those that use that are usually the emotionally irrational.

Whichever way it is used the term is incorrect to define the irrational.
Huh I though rwnj is a valid way to describe the following - believes in trickle down economics, minimal government (libertarian types) but somehow also want government to provide services to them just not to immigrants or those on low incomes; who conflate religious expression with the right to discriminate and harass based on religion. Or want to endlessly dog whistle on kulcha wars to ignore real issues.

So would you acknowledge that there are people that can be assigned one biological sex at birth, and yet associate more with the identity of another gender ?

If so, then what exactly are you arguing about ?
Biological sex is easily defined. Gender identity is whatever you want it to be.

If you disagree, define man and woman.

That's a pretty accurate definition of a rwnj.

And was there emotional irrationality to the definition? (I thought you had stated that those using the term RWNJ are often emotionally irrational but maybe I misunderstood your point)

He's larping as a terf, Elon Musk and/or Piers Morgan.

Agreed that the centre or Jan and Joe public do use the term rwmj to define rwnj as an observation.

Those who use it as a pejorative are usually the irrationally emotive.

Apologies if I wasn't clear.

Do you think we are we are getting stupider?

Fluid is a noun not a verb.

No wonder you campaigners think woke means something about white people.
Sorry, seems you've misinterpreted.

I'm not one of those campaigners you're campaigning about.

I've more often than enough pointed out the term woke used as a pejorative or a definition of the irrational as incorrect.

Woke is a word used by the African American community to describe being viscerally aware of the way the deck is stacked against African Americans in America and everything that entails. Its been used that way by those people for nearly 100 years or over 100 years depending on your source.

Fluid is a word that defines a substance that changes its shape in response to external pressure.

IE a substance that changes its shape under pressure is a fluid. So a fluid fits the word category of noun.

Language is not a substance. It has no physical form. Therefore it cannot change its shape under pressure.

This is because it has no shape.

So when someone says that using woke to describe stuff they don't like is the result of language being fluid all you can really take from their comments is that they're so dumb they don't even understand the language they are trying (and failing) to use.

That's hilarious. Jesus.

I propose a challenge to the wokesters here.

Define these two words:
1. Man
2. Woman
In the context of biology its those assigned male/female at birth.

In the context of gender identity, it's those that associate most with the norms and expectations of male/female.

This isn't quite the gotcha you RWNJ's think it is
