Let's agree that you guy's take NicNat paddy wak and we will take Rich, so when we do meet in round 20 we can both have a red hot dip to see where our teams generally are for next year without worrying about who get's first pick"

After this weekend it is clear neither team wanted to win on the weekend.

We won't take Watts - it's a good idea (the phone call). Think the AFL might be listening. Woosha might have to do like Tony Soprano, calling from a pay phone at the side of the highway....

Once after Gehrig was mauled by fans and the media for no good reason, and once when one of the least passionate players to play the game heads home for better money

dead on with both aspects, losing a gun agian coz he wanted to go back to vic would almost kill me, take a vic with 2nd round but with our first round better off being safe and pick rich, he is a gun midfielder and our midfield really does need some guns.

Also we have enough tall forwards as it is.
 
so important to get rich in my eyes, here is what could be our next judd or cousins and along with chris masten they are both w.a. boys and eagle fans so will remain at the club.

A gun midfielder for sure, Buckley say's he is one of the best kicks he's seen. Also a ready made step up and play tomorrow if he could footballer. Had he of been old enough last year we may have drafted him then.

so lynch and hansen are better than the next franklin? wirra will be retiring soon. we need a gun forward. midfielders are easy to find.

though i want rich full stop so get him first.

Oh careful there..

Gun midfielders that win games on their own are difficult to find. What we are lacking is crisp delivery to the forwards, it wouldnt matter if we took Watts and we keep delivering the ball like we currently do, he wont be able to make an impact.

Besides you only need a decent forward line and you are set. If Lynch could kick 60+ in a season, imagine how many the likes of Brown, Notte, Kennedy could kick with superb delivery?

We took Kerr and Embley who are gamebreakers quite lowly.

Matera and Judd are really the only high pick game breakers we've had. Both are very good players but other high draft picks have netted the likes of Shane Sikora, Jaxon Crabb and Brandon Hill

We picked Notte last year as a project KPP forward, he just needs to eat more Hungry Jacks:thumbsu:

Rich is the way to go, Melbourne will go Watt or NicNat and Freo will probably go the one the first two didn't pick. Then again they need quality mids as well.

With our 3 lowest picks we should get Rich + best available as they come, has worked for us in the past so why change strategy?
