Very unclutch on 17 and 18. Chunking a chip there is the stuff of nightmares.

Especially compared to Furue, who made like 200ft of putts down the stretch.

**** it's frustrating supporting Adam Scott. Just when you think he's got his shit together he loses the plot, usually putting.

EDIT: ...and of course he gets cheated by the Scottish Patrick Reed. Christ.

Cheated? Reed? Big Shot Bob is a champion fella. He made a beautiful putt to drip it in on 18. Scott’s similar attempt was a misread.

Good to see Scotty up and about. His best is still good enough.

Big playoff coming up at the ISCO. Whilst alternate field events aren't exactly the biggest things going around, one of these FIVE blokes is about to win for the first time.

Would be great if Zac Blair can take it out. Shortest driver on Tour by miles. He has been quoted as saying his driving distance matches up with the elite long hitters. That is, the elite long hitters who are 13yo amateur girls.

The drop itself was egregious but no different than any other tour pro getting the same kind of relief.

The "practice swing" he took was total bullshit though. Would be the most aggressive practice swing ever taken and doing so inches from a buried lie that could potentially move the ball is ridiculous.

Getting a drop because you are standing on a sprinkler head is something any amateur would do similarly. It was a lucky break. Not egregious

Nah, he milked it for everything that it was worth. Based on that ruling, Bryson should’ve got relief for line of sight with his second shot on 18 in the final round of the US Open

Not sure what TIO relief has to do with a rule that any of us could use on any given weekend?

Regardless, that is the game they play, and he played it well. What's he meant to do? Not take relief?

The shot he hit from there was ridiculous. As was his putt on 18.

Widen his stance or narrow it. How big is a sprinkler head? It isn’t like a cement path.

What do you think he is? A not for profit? He used the rules. That's entirely fair. He even asked the rules official whether it was ok because his practice swing exposed the sprinkler head.

WTF was a sprinkler head doing there is my question - they must have altered the routing at some point.

I’m not blaming him. It’s just a bs rule that gave him a chance to save him from his crap lie.
