There are rumours that they are turning NXT back to a purely developmental (punishment I guess) brand.
Punishment for being the least crappiest of the 3 brands?
Supposedly there is still more to come.

Aside from Bray, Black , Miro and Braun don’t really have an issue with any of the releases. Not like they are stars or anything.
The issue is is guys like Ryker Humberto Garza Elias Gulak aren’t the ones being released.
Fascinating to see what happens with Cole and Dunne if that's the case.
Would WWE even be trying to re-sign them?
They shouldn't be releasing anyone against their will in a pandemic when there's nowhere else to work, and when they are still highly profitable. It's especially egregious when its guys who've come from overseas, because work permits are so tough to get.
If there's a positive about all this, it's that every other wrestling company in the world benefits, and perhaps it even helps BritWres get its sh*t together again - no one is ever going to trust WWE again when they start hoarding talent post-pandemic.
Cole is a star and a fav of Paul and HBK so I would say yes.
Honestly would you expect any business to keep hundreds employed without them actually “working”.
WWE had to many employed, pretty sure 99% of businesses in the pandemic have made some form of cost cutting regardless of whether they are profitable or not.
Bronson was a fave of Triple H as well.
Cancel NXT and 205Live, and put more people on Smackdown so I don't have to see the same people wrestling 100 times.
Who are they not using here? It's like 20 people. They already have a ton of people. They just don’t use them but instead keep 50/50 booking those on tv, besides Roman.
How many mysterio v uso matches have we had week in week out now?

Don’t th
WWE was the only wrestling company to release anybody.
They also made ridiculous profits.
It was WWE that stockpiled them with promises then threw them out the door with a garbage bag of their stuff.
Business is business and it’s cut throat, we as fans think and expect they will do what we want because we enjoy it but they don’t. Can you blame them for anything they do? In the end all they care about is making money like every business does.
Whether we agree with it or not is another thing but in the end it’s a business that’s there to make money.
You can say that about nearly every sports contract on the world. That’s fine and all but when they are signing some of these guys on multi year deals then just cutting them its pretty shitty form. Contract is barely worth the piece of paper it’s on from the wrestlers perspective
