Rumour is Ali has been off tv due to having a massive blow up over a creative pitch by Vince that Ali would never do.

He, and a lot of other recent releases should be overly grateful they had the amount of exposure on WWE TV that they did. I’d imagine it would be much more easier to gain work on the Indy scene now with that exposure and name value behind them

I'm a fan of Ali. But I suspect they didn't want to run it because every time they do - Alberto Del Rio, Muhammed Hassan, Yokozuna, Sergeant Slaughter et al - it dies a death.
