Could use lowest previous weeks score (obviously doesn't work round 1)?

That at least protects a stronger team having one bad week.

Could do that and maybe if the captain tiebreaker doesn't work in round 1 then it's just two out in round 2?

Alternatively, if you have a tie for the bottom, they are both out and nobody gets eliminated the following week. Reckon it's unlikely to happen though.
