This should not have been a suspension and I said so in our game day thread - Archer clearly tries to pull up but just had too much momentum. There seems to be a lot of hate for Cleary here, I just can’t see how this could be viewed him taking the players legs. He was nowhere near Archers legs as he went to ground trying to gather the ball. Archer runs into his occupied space not the other way round. Two young players giving their all, albeit clumsily.

IMHO, the reality is that change can only happen if the club presidents form a united position agitating for change, or perhaps if the AFLPA flexes its muscle. The biggest clubs benefit from the AFL corruption so they don't want to change the status quo. Would be very pleasantly surprised if the AFLPA did anything.

Couldn't believe the result last night. Listened to Razor Ray's explanation on AFL 360 of why it wasn't a contact below the knees free and that didn't make any sense either. The whole thing is so subjective. I'm not going to derail and talk about Lynch from my club, although I think that was bs too. The only one I agree with is the Scrimshaw penalty which seemed like a pretty cheap shot.
