The Otherworldly Circus - The America Thread

Of course we need to worry more about our own country first. And we do. But to put the blinkers on and not be concerned about what's happening elsewhere in the world is not serving our interests well. I'm concerned about the rise of totalitarianism and anti-democratic trends everywhere...

    Prediction R12 Changes vs. Collingwood

I'm OK with playing him if they think they can make it work. In terms of both current form and potential I think JOD is better than anyone we have in the VFL apart from Lobb so I want to see him play. I just don't think we can compare our back 6 to the triple premiership back 6 that Geelong...

What They're Saying - The Bulldogs Media Thread - Part 4

Good question. I'm just speculating here, but maybe it's because he's paid for commentary ... and they leaned on him to say something controversial because he's regarded as a credible voice on anything related to the Bulldogs? I haven't seen the segment but was he really "piling on"? Or was...

    Prediction R12 Changes vs. Collingwood

They probably had more versatile backs than Keath and more experienced ones than O'Donnell. So I'm not sure that's the best evidence. Not saying it can't work but at this stage I think it's a stretch to suggest our backline is comparable with their triple premiership backline.

Also in a previous year Bevo said that he didn't like the idea of one player being sub two weeks in a row. But who knows if still adheres to that.

Welcome to the Bulldogs Kelsey Rypstra

Definitely a right footer. Sorry grassman! Some CBAs in there I notice. Not suggesting he would play there for us - not yet at least - but it's good to know he can adapt to different roles. It's hard to tell from scant video evidence, especially when those clips deliberately pick out...
