I read your message on the site regarding relocating to Brissy and taking up social footy. I too am a passionate Geelong supporter, and am relocating to Brissy in February to finish my university study. I'm 28, so looking for a social footy outlet without 100% commitment time-wise. I'm from South-west Victoria and have spent the last couple of seasons playing in Canada with local teams there.
I'd be interested to know how your search is going, as we seem to be looking for the same thing. I'm hoping to be living in an apartment in central Brissy, and have had a look at the Uni, Yeronga, Morningside, Coorparoo and Griffith Marooka teams online, but none have jumped out at me as sides that would be great to join for social footy. Let me know if you've made any headway.
