Very harsh on Witherden who is going at a kick efficiency of 82.7% for the year and disposal efficiency in total of 83.6 %.
Witho has been polarising this season. There's people that think he's been good and there's people thats think he's rubbish. I sit in the middle but regarding your point his DE/KE would be heavily topped up by the fact that he takes a lot of kick ins. When he makes mistakes they're are absolutely costly. I don't mind him making mistakes but he hardly does it trying to take the game but they're just dumb basic level clangers.

Do I want to drive the 2 hours there and back and pay good money to see this game? I mean obviously we're going to stink it up, but also it's going to be my only chance this year to see just how bad/unfit the players are live.

The main thing putting me off right now is that Brisbane being good means the stadium will be about full - if there were plenty of empty seats I'd have been a shoo-in.

There will be plenty of empty seats. The Eagles aren't a big draw in SEQ, especially in their current state, and no-one's super excited at the prospect of a mismatched blowout.

Yeah, I live opposite the Gabba and I'm not sure I can be arsed walking 100m across the road to go, considering the insipid performances we've dished up this year.

Go so you can yell abuse at the senior players, confident they will get every word.

“It’s going to be a challenge (against Brisbane). They were really good yesterday. They’ve got a healthy list and they’re in a really good space,” Simpson said.
We’ve got to be up for the fight, we need to go over there with full expectations of performing well, throw the kitchen sink at them and see how we go....”

I imagine that kitchen sink will bounce right off the Lions and continue bouncing out of the Gabba and on down the street...?

It will be one of those plastic portable camping sinks.

COME ON... we need eyes on the ground... the TV and stats just dont give you the true picture... we need you to push through the pain. 😖

I tested positive for Covid on Sat and although I am not through the initial 7 day iso period I can say that it has absolutely wiped me out. I feel exhausted after doing the simplest of things, like showering.

Cannot imagine how they would play a game of footy.

Have been told by others that the tiredness lasts for weeks after Covid. Maybe I will cut them a bit more slack?

I tested positive for COVID and was almost asymptomatic (some fatigue for 2 days) and was exercising (at home) by day 3 or 4. It's a case by case thing and I suspect most players will come back fine, given they are young, fit and vaccinated.
