I remember being 8 goals down at qtr time against these pricks, levelled it at half time, and went onto win.

those were the days.

I was at the WACA for that game. My old man used to record the games every week to watch the replay and I still have the VHS. Would be my favourite non-finals Eagles game.

The pre-game anticipation or countdown used to be exciting, but now it's like a sad weekend chore that has to be done, and you feel so much better when it's all over...
Eagles by 24 either way...

Me too...the atmosphere was amazing once the comeback really kicked in.
It was my last year of highschool and we took the crazy exchange student to the game. He was going absolutely off like he'd been a fan his whole life

I have never felt this un-excited to go to the football. The whole thing feels like a chore interrupting my Saturday night out.

2008 was pretty bad but this season is another level. It's shocking when you don't feel like even a remote chance to win before the game starts.

Part of me always thinks the stars can align and we can win. You know when a team is pretty bad but your opponents play down to your level.

No defensive brain farts.

Yeah when I read the names I think maybe we'll have one of those games but then I think "pfftt yeah sure" and thats about it.

Its gonna be a slow slow rebound to the top this time

Am impressed by people who actually drive /catch public transport there and back, and pay to see Eagles games and endure it for 3+ hours!? It's tough enough watching it all unravel from the sofa.
