Kate Bartlett was offered a contract by West Coast yesterday along with three other players. She wouldn’t divulge who the others were but you’d think there would be an announcement today if they have agreed to sign.

"West Coast have ramped up their AFLW list rebuild, signing reigning WAFLW Dhara Kerr medallist Ella Smith. The Eagles have committed to Claremont co-captain Smith as one of their four mature-aged players after receiving draft concessions from the AFLW. As well as receiving three first-round draft selections, West Coast also have the ability to pre-sign a quartet of players who have previously nominated for the AFLW draft. Fellow Tiger Sasha Goranova is also set to join Smith at the Eagles, with the pair announcing the news to their teammates on Wednesday night.
Smith, 21, is a powerful inside midfielder who can also hit the scoreboard while Goranova, 20, is a Claremont best-and-fairest and can play a variety of roles through the midfield. Both have spent time at West Coast as top-up players, giving them a taste of life in an elite AFLW environment. “This year, I’m a bit hungrier knowing it’s not a given and it’s all hard work. It’s not going to come easy,” Smith told The West Australian earlier this year. “Being in that elite environment exposed me to a lot of AFLW players and getting to learn off them. “It has given me a taste of AFL life. And with hard work again this year, I hope it will be within my grasp.”

West Coast have also lured two Melbourne players to the nest, including a cousin of a male Eagle. The Eagles have acquired Krstel Petrevski, cousin of Sam Petrevski-Seton, uncapped tall Isabella Simmons and pick 77 from Melbourne in exchange for pick 50. Petrevski, 21, played four games for the Demons and go through the midfield and up forward, while Simmons was inactive last season due to a foot injury but made her VFLW return recently. “It’s exciting to lock in two players who we believe will play a long-term role in the evolution of our AFLW team,” women’s football head Michelle Cowan said
Should say welcome BACK, but I wont let that deter me.
Good mature signings, KB has worked her arse off to get back.
With the drafting of Roberts and likely Wakfer, we have improved on paper immensely.
I thought it might be Jaide Britton.
Evidently it isn’t.
I’m not sure of the 4th.
Jaide BrittonAny you think we should be looking at?
