I feel that I’m seeing some pretty average delivery inside 50. Its quite a familiar feeling

I've been watching closely. The forwards just stand there 75% of the time, waiting for the ball to fall into their laps. Bugger all leading, massively congested. It's such a dysfunctional area of our game.

I don't know enough to pinpoint things, but seems like our pressure has been right off. But has been that way for decent periods for the whole year. Not sure if it's a strategy of picking and choosing our moments to conserve energy, but it seems to have been caught out the last two weeks if so. Obviously it doesn't help having all our key backmen getting injured.

Don’t understand why Max doesn’t go back more too help the defence instead of loitering in the forward line . Also missing tackles and some questionable handballs , lucky to not be further behind.

Tomlinson is terrible.

Salem's turnover cost us 4 goals. It started their momentum. Very rare by him.

The way we are playing the last few weeks, we are not a premiership contender this year. Not to say we can't improve, but by crikey we look middle of the road right now.

If we can snag a win tonight will be a very good effort considering we made five changes. Whether we should have made five in one game will probably be answered by tonights result.

Two weeks in a row we've hit the wall now. A lot to play out in this one but we look sluggish in every aspect.

If we arent under a heavy training load atm then this isn't good.

Losing 1 on 1s.
Fumbly.
Slow ground coverage.
Beaten for numbers.
Not fully committed at 50/50 balls.
Too many panic kicks.
Sydney with a massive sniff.

Last week I said we need to go back to basics. Win ugly, I dont care. This is about 4 crucial points and inensity, not being clever and flash.

Mate, defence is the least of our problems. I will give you credit for calling out the forward inefficiency though.

Darren Burgess! Big loss. Pressure was 11th coming into this game. 11th! Getting found out two weeks in a row against hungrier teams bringing pressure. I wonder if Burgess is a factor here. Can't be a coincidence we drop massively in pressure numbers can it? Hmmm
