Richie is rapidly becoming the new Jeff.

Richie seems like he either was or is oblivious to member sentiment around Jeff and the perception that it’s “Jeff’s” board.

His comments that the challenges have come on the back of Clarkson being replaced is very surprising, and suggests that the board have had no realization of how much Jeff’s continued public gaffs on radio, TV and social media and by extension their reluctance or incapacity to reign him in has directly effected how they’re viewed by thousands of HFC members.

It’s not unreasonable to have concerns about Dingley with rampant inflation and labour and supply chain issues in the construction industry. It is a bad time to be embarking on a major development, and it will cost a lot more and take a lot longer than had been planned.

That makes Kennett’s narcissistic behaviour toward the state government and the board’s complete failure to hold him to account all the more egregious. Quite aside from absolutely everything else (and there is so much), the fact Kennett has acknowledged he cost the club $15M in this climate with his late night ranting justifies voting out anyone affiliated with the board that stood by and enabled him

It depends how the contract has been structured.
If we signed a fixed contract with set dates then it could work in our favour.
