Miller is a ripping footballer. One player I would absolutely love at North. The guy could easily win a Brownlow if the Suns can improve and play finals in the next 2-3 years.Thought our blokes were looking solid then saw that photo of Touk Miller

To think he was right under our noses playing cricket for us.Every time I see or hear about touk
I think to the Bryce Lewis genius of taking dan Neilson ahead of him after we already got a KPD with the first pick
Itās when we get to smart for our own good that we **** it upTo think he was right under our noses playing cricket for us.

One of the most professional kids in the comp. I remember speaking to a fella involved with the Calder Cannons in his draft year in 2014 and he just couldn't believe that Touk wasn't being talked about as a top ten pick. Said he was one of the pure footballers he'd seen come through juniors. Natural footy IQ, professional and had leadership in spades. He said the only mid he would've drafted ahead of Touk was Petracca. That included Angus Brayshaw, Jordan De Goey, ect. Turns out he was on the money with how he thought Touk would adapt at AFL level.
He stood out in the draft vision that year. Any idea why so many clubs overlooked him? Was that the period of everyone trying to get a 190cm athletic mid?
certainly more long term economically viable that crystals!Plants, eh?
They said he had limited upside because he was already physically mature and because he was slowish/smallish. Had a good tank though. It surprises me when natural competitors like him drop down orders like that. That fierce competitive nature isn't something that is natural to alot of players.
On a side note, this was his physique as an 17 year old. Kid has always been jacked. Hasn't actually put on "that" much size since he come into the AFL system.,,,,

There was nothing good about the 2014 draft for us.What a ****ing balls-up.
I know everyone else passed on him but I don't care about everyone else!

Do we have any betting comps on what round clarko punches a hole in the wall? I'm guessing pretty early, but allow for a honeymoon 'nice' clarko.
I reckon round 8.
I would personally disagree in regards to Harper. Up until he did his ankle he was looking to be a star. Stillā¦ Parker would have been nice. It's incredibly frustrating. Overlooking guys who we'd been linked to leading up to the draft has been a big bug bear of mine. Historically there are some of the worst....
2010 - Kieran Harper over Luke Parker
2014 - Daniel Nielson over Touk Miller & Brayden Maynard
2019 - Jack Mahony over Chad Warner
