We all thought Barry was a champ, sort of Mini version of Jono Brown, but stopped growing any further except outward
Became a jockey, then a trainer. Ended not long ago with a heart attack…
I was total shyte at 11. Even worse at 15. You just can't tell.
My first match as an 11 year old I soccered a goal.
Wasn't even sure if you were allowed to do that.
When I retired as a 17 year-old that was still probably the only moment for my highlights reel.
Which makes us both perfectly qualified to criticise highly skilled professional footballers from the cheap seats when they clanger
