Last training report for the year from Caesar -
Final Session
It was all about the run!
Started off with about 45 minutes of light skills work and then they were sent off to Christmas with a gruelling running.
Must have been a timed run not lap completion, when clock stopped The Beast, (Tarranto), had just completed 9.5 laps of PRO and had just lapped Tom Brown, (who came a fair way last), for a 2nd time and Dusty and DRioli for the 1st time, (he lapped 2/3 of the the field). A few of the boys finished right in front of me, Daniel who was sucking in the big one's and had given his all goes to Tarranto, who probably could've kept going, "smile Tazz you didn't go hard enough" :sarcasm,
So Brown and Narkle seemed to be struggling after only two laps but to Narkle's credit he kept plugging away and overtook several players in the process.
Kamdyn and Bakes did their best to finish within about 100 metres of Tarranto.
Tom Lynch appeared at end of session in a moon boot and on crutches. Tom had progressively been doing less and less in rehab so they must have taken a while to diagnose ? otherwise you'd think they'd have pulled the plug on him earlier.
Cheers all and enjoy your Christmas break!

Training For 2023
This is one I've actually suffered from as well and it's a bastard of a thing. As Craigo said, it's the ligament that runs the length of your foot so it takes the full load of impact in almost anything you do and is involved in lots of other foot movements. Even things like cycling and swimming...www.puntroadend.com

His endurance needs a lot of work.Tom Brown getting lapped multiple times and also plays a position we're loaded in.
Not good signs for this kid.
Wonder who photographed it?
Slightly concerning for Brown. I had hopes he would break into the team this coming season, but that fitness gap is huge.Last training report for the year from Caesar -

what happened to him farkenso end of February earliest before Lynch kicks a ball ? might as well wrap him in cotton wool for the time being and unleash him when the comp settles down and theres a few injuries in the oppo camps,rd 5-7,sumthin like that.
Lockett rarely played full seasons from 21 yrs onwards
We can trade him to Geesook for Max Holmes who we gave up for the Brown draft pick!Tom Brown getting lapped multiple times and also plays a position we're loaded in.

Yeah, a bit early to panic.Slightly concerning for Brown. I had hopes he would break into the team this coming season, but that fitness gap is huge.
Hopefully he works on that.
Great to hear Narkle has a bit of fight in him.
Taranto just sounds like an outright fitness monster.
