Last training report for the year from Caesar -

Final Session

It was all about the run!

Started off with about 45 minutes of light skills work and then they were sent off to Christmas with a gruelling running.

Must have been a timed run not lap completion, when clock stopped The Beast, (Tarranto), had just completed 9.5 laps of PRO and had just lapped Tom Brown, (who came a fair way last), for a 2nd time and Dusty and DRioli for the 1st time, (he lapped 2/3 of the the field). A few of the boys finished right in front of me, Daniel who was sucking in the big one's and had given his all goes to Tarranto, who probably could've kept going, "smile Tazz you didn't go hard enough" :sarcasm:),
So Brown and Narkle seemed to be struggling after only two laps but to Narkle's credit he kept plugging away and overtook several players in the process.
Kamdyn and Bakes did their best to finish within about 100 metres of Tarranto.

Tom Lynch appeared at end of session in a moon boot and on crutches:(. Tom had progressively been doing less and less in rehab so they must have taken a while to diagnose ? otherwise you'd think they'd have pulled the plug on him earlier.

Cheers all and enjoy your Christmas break!

Timmy T…what a beast…elite

I just had high hopes for him, I still rate him, all I'm saying is it is a little concerning. I respect all opinions on here, I hope it was just a bad day for him
Meh, it’s not great but it’s also very early in the pre season
What matters now is how he comes back after the break and during the camp and pre season proper

May have had work done over the break that has set him back

My opinion is, I think is of concern that apparantly he finished last by a fair way. I like him as a player, don't need you to tell me to relax

How do you know he wasn’t sick or something else and he pushed through anyway?

Nicholas Alexander Leendert Vlastuin is / was pretty average athlete when drafted but turned out alright…
I had a greyhound and when i trialed him on his own was ordinary to say the least people kept saying get rid his no good and I laughed come the day of the races he was a different Dog and I won a heap of races with him. His name was Tiger Ben. Anyway I have seen to many times players look ordinary in the ressies and and come in the senior side and look totally different so don't give up on Brown just yet.

Plantar fasciitis often results from dysfunctional calf and Achilles muscles. Very slow calf raises (particularly the down phase) fixed it for me. Good luck Tom.

Losing 10 kegs helped fix mine. Doubt that's an option for Tommy though
