Dropped in only briefly for around 20 minutes this morning right towards the end of training.

When I arrived the players were focussing on drills, the forwards, backs and mids all split up into their respective parts of the grounds.

The midfield group were split into two groups effectively, and it seemed to me that one group was instructed to weave through the other through possession. No tackling involved. It was Powelly however that stood out to me above all the other mids today (I stress just a a very short viewing). Was nailing 30 metre passes by foot with ease. Real bullets that broke through the zones. Keeping in mind he’s probably almost out best hand baller (Cunners no.1) I can’t help but be very excited by what 2023 is going to bring for Tommy. A player with supreme vision, absolute footballer through and through. And right now does not lack confidence.

Cunnington, Goldie, Jy, Lmac, Log, LDU, TT, BMac and many others are older than that.
Might not take as long as we might think.

It might not take as long as we think, but in Vineys recent interview he said something along the lines that we‘re in a growing phase and our members need to be patient.
