Bit arrogant to label India 'the final frontier' - when's the last time we outright won the Ashes in England? Retaining them via a drawn series doesn't count.
2001.

The drawn 2019 series irks me no end. That Test where Leach and Stokes won it for them should've been a win, but for some bad DRS usage late by us and a Nathan Lyon run out fumble soon after. And then to make matters worse we go and win the next Test but decide for the subsequent and final Test at The Oval to bowl first. It's like handing your opposition the best chance at a win. FFS Tim Paine.

Krejza and Steve O'Keefe both managed to take wickets in India and they were bog average, Agar may yet be a handful over there.

That being said would still prefer Murphy, Swepson or Kuhnneman
Will never understand why people talk down SOK as a bowler, his first class record was excellent. Deserved to play more Tests.

Sure he didn’t turn it much, but neither did Herath and Vettori. They all relied on subtle variations for success, by and large.

As if Tim Paine made that decision

I reckon when Tim got the sack I was a bit over the top with the celebrations but moves like that played a part.Looking back I was quite harsh on him

I have no idea why we can't just play Lyon and Murphy, if they're the two best spinners (I think they are). We happily play multiple right-arm seamers, so why not a pair of offspinners?

Agar is the new Maxwell. Funnily enough I wouldn’t really care if tgis was a tour of SL/Pakistan/Bangladesh. He’d cop a few wickets against a weaker batting set up

SOK is far from bog average. It's a shame he was by all reports a ******** on the piss/in general.

The 2005 series also irks. After being comfortable winners in T1 we go to Edgbaston.
We have a team with the worlds best ever spinner in it to bowl on day 4-5 and we lose our number one pace bowler in the warmup when he treads on a ball, win the toss and decide to bowl. With Warne... on a batting wicket (no green)... in conditions (humidity, cloud etc.) that was in favour of the batsmen. No wonder England put on something like 1-132 in the first session.

I was at the ground and there is not a person there who agreed with that decision to bowl. Handed England the advantage. Should have been 2-0 up rather than 1-1. It would have been series over.

And there was only one person at the ground who didn't see KP glove the ball to Gilchrist when on zero. Unfortunately that person was Bellend Billy Bowden, the worst umpire in Test history. He also missed a plumb (middle stump, 1/2 way up) LBW on Jones from Brett Lee.

The embarrassing bit is tht this bloke is a West Aussie. Vaild point about Agar but **** me dead. One bloke has a worse FC average than Agar and the other hasn’t even played a single FC match

India's top order are basically all right handers, especially if Rishahb is out, so the left arm off spinner turns it away instead of in. Ajaz Patel took 10 for against them ffs.

I'm with you - India bowling conditions aren't indicative of Australian bowling conditions.

I still don't think Agar should be the automatic second pick for India, but if Krejza can get 10 wickets, I reckon Agar would go okay
