Basically batters have actually worked hard to be able to hit it far, maybe bowlers need to work harder

Is this just the evolution of T20 cricket, where 200 will be considered a par score?
It wasn't that long ago that 250 was considered a competitive ODI score, now you'd probably consider 300 as a competitive score.

I haven't been following but what sort of pitches are being served up? Are they basically the concrete strips that we used to play on back in the 80s ? (some of us)

Short for Agar a no-brainer, surely. JFM for Green based on IPL form - unless they think Marsh and/or Stoinis are a risk of not bowling.Staggered no FMG.

Must be a sign they think the Windies pitches will offer a bit and Fraser-McGurk is more suited to the IPL roads.

Green takes 1/28 off his 4, probably should have been closer to a 5-fer. His pace was only matched by his lack of luck.

FWIW I agree with the selector's logic that he's not flexible enough and has to bat PP, but he's a great 'break glass in case of emergency' option to have in the squad.

He should be opening with Head.
Yeah we could and will certainly do worse than being 1/15 off the first over.
Cam Green adapting to his new role in the middle order. He's still not a natural for #5/6, because he starts too slow, but he's learning to make his bowling harder to hit. Going at under 9 an over, and taking the odd wicket. Now looking like a more viable backup option for the WC. With RCB on a roll, he might even get to play finals.
I'd still prefer Short to Agar, and I'd be tempted to drop a wicketkeeper for Fraser-McGurk.
