So many aggressive dickheads on the road. My observation as a cyclist is that it's young tradies in utes speeding and also not allowing for enough space as they overtake.

They are beautifully counterbalanced by the Toyota Tarago (or Alphard) drivers doing 20km/h under the speedlimit on the right lane of the freeway. Nose 5 inches from the steering wheel.

Is the Tarago/Camry the new Volvo? Volvos are now pretty cool.

I never wanted to publicly admit it, but you have given me courage. I too reckons the volvo are not a bad vehicle now. Debated recently getting one, but went with a Pajero (as it was previously a police vehicle that had a cage, we have two very big dogs... cage handy)

My experience late last year was mostly with 30 something y.o women.

I just slow down more and flip them the bird.

So many people are that unhinged nowadays, provoking them may just end up with you in hospital.

A road rage incident here a fortnite ago saw a lady on a motorbike ride through the wrong side of a roundabout to get away from a driver only to be followed through said wrong side of the roundabout and intentionally pinned to a power pole.

Driving back from Mt. Buller uears ago, some crazy arseh*le in a old hiace van tried multiple times to run me off the road all because I merged into the right lane even though he was about 150mtrs behind me and I would have been well out of his way if he hadn't intentionally sped up.

I have seen another guy, whilst overtaking, just sideswipe the car he was overtaking.

DashcamownerAustralia has plenty more crazy shit on there too. Not worth the risk.

Never had an accident that was my fault. ( only ever had one and that was a commodore t-boning me while he was doing an illegal right hand turn. Convicted in absence because he didn’t show in court and of course, no insurance!)
Been driving 43 years. Happy with my actual driving record, trucks and cars.

I really f*cken HATE those "global" holiday cottage booking sites - one based in Amsterdam, the other in Texas. I loved it when you could book a cottage for a few days directly with the owner. Now you have to negotiate these clunkers to request a booking etc.

The logic(?) behind the sites is archaic and annoying. Some owners have told me they hate the sites too but they "need" to be on them.

Next rant will be on a Rick Stein "approved" recipe for stuffing up fresh fish - coming soon.
