Look mate you could wear those bad boys with just about any outfit for all sorts of occasions but as for a target market I wouldn’t like to speculate. As a shoe they’re just so damn versatile.Having said that I think when my kids decide to ship me off to pasture because they think I’ve finally lost my marbles they’ll most probably buy me a pair of them because they figure I won’t know any different and they’d be easy to put on as I said just versatile and at $129 bucks you can’t go wrong.

Skechers are fine, I've owned a shoelaceless pair for more than 5 years and they are holding up really well. I can't speak for their runners, I usually wear New Balance as I need a wider shoe for running which Skechers didn't offer in the past. I owned a pair of under armour shoes in the same style and they started falling apart after 15 months...

Got some ISC gear for Xmas and I'm pretty happy with the quality. Skechers logo looks fine and the fit is decent and not far off the Adidas sizing. Wish they were made in Australia but good luck finding any clothes made here.

Man, I had such a crush on her...

I just looked it up. Ichthyophilia - This behaviour refers to those who derive sexual arousal from fish.
That's enough internet for me, I think.

There’s nothing wrong with them or the fact they sponsor the hawks just some of their male casual range are kind of iconic and the butt of jokes .

I don't think I've ever spent more than $10 on a pair of shoes. The thought of spending $129 is horrific.

Don't run or walk much? 😅.

All of us who need stability trainers just had shooting pains through our heels reading that.
Ran constantly. On my feet all day as a teacher. Played indoor cricket for Victoria, and outdoor cricket at district level. Shoes are not about the price tag, but about how they feel on your feet. I just keep trying on pairs as K-mart Target, lifeline until a pair just work. People who spend more are doing it wrong.

I would say you are just incredibly lucky.

I have advanced arthritis in my toes, Achilles tendonitis and wide feet. I can't even wear thongs or slides in public anymore without being in pain once I cool down. Only 32 and still playing footy and running multiple times a week. No idea what life will look like come 52 😅.

I can't wear thongs either, they kill my feet. Nor can I wear bad shoes. But the difference between a good shoe company and a bad shoe company isn't quality, it's quality control. There are brilliant shoes made by poor companies. People just don't want to do the work to find that perfect pair. If I save $119 on a pair of shoes and it takes me an hour, that's good money. I just earnt $119/hr.

My current pair is 5 years on. Nearing the end of their tenure, but still providing good service. No idea what brand though. Don't even know if it would have a name.

Wow. I thought my parents were cheap when they wouldn’t spend more $30 on sneakers for me…..in the 80’s.

I cannot fathom spending less on shoes than I would be willing to spend on coffee.

Hang on - you spend more than $10 for a cup of coffee?

I've spent $24 on a single beer at a bar in inner city Melbourne.

Didn't regret a single moment of it either. Even if I could have bought 2 and a half pairs of K-Mart shoes instead.
