Skechers has an important announcement
Bagging on Skechers when they pronounce Adidas incorrectly
People on here realise that Puma and Skechers are roughly the same size?
It was announced over 24 hours ago and this has barely hit the 2nd page, not sure people are carrying on that much tbh. It’s also a growing brand with steadily increasing sales, it’s clearly trying to evolve and pivot towards a youth market, particularly in the US. It’s outperforming most of its competitors in terms of stock price performance also - but hey because some people don’t like the look of the shoes then this must mean we are doomed. The way people are carrying on you’d think Clarks school shoes were the new shoe sponsor.
Ignoring the 20 odd pages in the other thread, sure.It was announced over 24 hours ago and this has barely hit the 2nd page, not sure people are carrying on that much tbh.
That aren't all about SketchersIgnoring the 20 odd pages in the other thread, sure.
Mmmm they can give us money but i am willing to say they will never be coolNew Balance are cool now, so never say never for Skechers
Just like Apple would never be a bigger brand then IBM.Mmmm they can give us money but i am willing to say they will never be cool
It ain’t that serious to be honest.Just like Apple would never be a bigger brand then IBM.
I'm hoping that we got a good deal out of them to assist that pivot. If it all falls in a mess for them we take the money and then move on to the next sponsor. If it takes off for them we were one of the first they invested in. Shrewd either way for me.It’s also a growing brand with steadily increasing sales, it’s clearly trying to evolve and pivot towards a youth market, particularly in the US. I won’t disagree however the Nike Frees are very ugly as well personallyI don't wear Skechers, I don't wear any high profile brand name runners either so I don't have a dog in the race. Just looking at the offerings of both brands, I really don't see much difference between Nike Frees and Skechers athletic shoes besides the logo.
If I had my way we'd be sponsored by VivoBarefoot.
Agree. Front looks great with both sponsors well integrated into the look. Shame the AFL Logo has to be so big (both NFL and NBA have a better approach of less is more). I'd have to agree on the back about KFC being too prominent but iiNet fits in well.Personally I'm just glad the playing jumper looks fine. ISC has done well there.
Sketchers isn't a cool brand. Brown and gold aren't cool colours. Hanging out posting about the sponsor of your football club isn't a particularly cool activity, so it all fits.
I’m putting on my Sketchers, getting in my Nissan and driving away from the complaining.
View attachment 1550842New stocks out at the hawks nest interesting that isc don’t have any branding on the shelves (apart from the merch) like adidas and also the isc gear is now on the side of the store not the back
For those of us old enough, this is what I keep picturing when I hear skechers.
